Nothing to schedule
A Video Call You Do Not Have to Arrange
Every video call you have ever made needed a plan: a number, a link, a time that suited both people. This one needs a browser tab. You press start and the call already has someone in it.

Two kinds of video call
Same technology, completely different social contract.
| Calling someone you know | Calling someone new here | |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Number, link, agreed time | Press start |
| If it is a bad moment | You still have to talk | Skip, no explanation |
| What you talk about | Logistics, usually | Whatever comes up |
| Ending it | Three rounds of goodbye | One tap |
Check the call before the call
Half of all bad first impressions on video are technical: dark room, echoing microphone, camera pointed at a ceiling. Test it here first — the preview runs locally in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
Still not working? The camera and microphone guide goes through the fixes in the order that actually solves it.
The preview never leaves your device. It is here so you can see what a match would see before anyone does.
Video call questions
How do I make a video call to someone new?
Open the page, allow your camera and microphone, and start matching. There is no number to dial and no invite link to send.
Is the video call free?
Getting into a conversation costs nothing. The platform has paid features and will always tell you before anything is charged.
Can I video call from a phone browser?
Yes. Phones are the most common way people use this. Prop the phone up rather than holding it — the call looks better and your arm survives.
What if my connection is weak?
Video quality drops before the call does. If it keeps freezing, switch to Wi-Fi, close other tabs, and try again — live video needs steady upload, not just download.
Can I call the same person again?
If you follow each other, you can message and set up another conversation later. Otherwise every match is a new person.
