What is justalk.chat?
A video chat site for meeting new people. You get matched with one adult at a time for a private 1v1 conversation in your browser — no download, no profile to fill in first.
Do I need an account to start?
You can look around the site freely. Entering the video experience asks you to confirm you are 18 or over, and the platform may ask you to sign in before or during a conversation depending on how much you use it.
Is it random, or do I choose who I talk to?
Both routes exist. Matching connects you with the next available person, and you can also browse who is around and start from there.
What if a conversation gets uncomfortable?
Leave it. Skip moves you to the next person immediately, and block and report are available in the conversation. You never owe a stranger your time.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes — it runs in a mobile browser. Allow the camera and microphone when your phone asks, and hold the phone at eye level so the other person can actually see you.
