Live Video Chat With Real People

No edit button, no draft folder, no filter between you and the moment. Live video chat puts one real person in front of you and lets the conversation be whatever it turns out to be.

What "live" changes

Three things that only happen when both people are actually there.

Timing

The pause before someone answers tells you more than the answer. Text deletes that information entirely.

Reaction

You can watch a joke land or not land. Nobody can pretend to have laughed.

Consequence

You cannot draft a live conversation. What you say is what you meant, roughly, and that turns out to be more interesting.

It is a conversation, not a broadcast

Live video online usually means an audience: a streamer, a chat column, and a few thousand people typing at once. This is the opposite shape. Two people, one screen each, and no third party in the room.

That means there is nobody to perform for. It also means nobody can pile on, screenshot the chat, or turn a bad moment into content. If a conversation stops working, one tap ends it.

  • One person at a time, always
  • No spectators, no public chat column
  • Skip, block and report available throughout
  • Recording someone without consent breaks the rules

About live video chat

What makes a video chat "live"?

Both people are present at the same time. Nothing is pre-recorded, nothing is queued for later, and there is no upload step between you and the other person.

Is this a livestream?

No. A livestream is one person broadcasting to an audience. This is a two-way conversation between two people, and nobody else can watch it.

Are the people real?

Yes — real people using the same platform you are on. We do not use bots as conversation partners, and we do not display invented online counts anywhere on this site.

What time of day is best?

Evenings and late nights are busier almost everywhere, but the platform runs across many time zones, so mid-afternoon in one country is prime time in another.

Can I be recorded?

Recording someone without their consent is against our community guidelines and grounds for removal. Assume good faith, but never show anything on camera you would not want saved.

Live means right now

One tap and you are in front of someone who is also there.

Adults 18 and over. Skip, block or leave at any point.
