Browser questions
Do I need to download an app for online video chat?
No. The whole experience runs in a modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing in your app list afterwards.
Which browsers work?
Current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox all support the camera and microphone access this needs. Very old browsers and some in-app webviews do not.
Does online video chat use a lot of data?
Live video is heavier than browsing. On a limited mobile plan, use Wi-Fi if you can and keep an eye on how long you stay in a conversation.
Why does the site ask for camera permission?
Because the other person needs to see and hear you. The browser asks, not us, and you can refuse — you just will not be able to join a video conversation.
Is anything stored on my device?
The site keeps a small amount of local state, such as your 18+ confirmation, so you are not asked the same question every visit.
