A place to meet someone new through a face-to-face video conversation. You open the site, confirm you are an adult, allow your camera, and you are talking to one person. There is no feed, no follower count, and no profile to complete before anything happens.

Why video, and why one at a time

Text is efficient and terrible at conveying whether you like someone. Group rooms turn conversation into performance. A one-to-one video call is the only format where both people are actually paying attention — you find out in a minute what a week of messaging would not have told you.

What we will not do

• Invent an "online now" number to make the site feel busier.
• Claim moderation coverage we do not have.
• Use AI-generated people in place of the real ones on the platform.
• Make leaving a conversation difficult.

Those four are easy promises to write and easy to check. Hold us to them — the safety page spells out exactly which controls exist and which claims we decline to make.

justalk.chat is an independent social video platform for meeting new people. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other company or application with a similar name, and we do not provide downloads, logins or support for anyone else's software.

Who it is for

Adults, 18 and over, who would rather have one real conversation than scroll past two hundred faces. Mostly people in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Europe — though the person you match with could be almost anywhere.
